These are the questions most clients ask before starting their update. In each I will give you the 10,000 ft quick answer for my skimmers, and then a more in-depth one below it for those who want more insights.
Quick Answer: Many programs aim to fix the symptoms – what you think your issue is. We go underneath the issue and search out the root cause, the outdated program, and fix that. When you fix the root cause, the symptoms naturally go away for good.
Longer Answer: Let me share a personal story ...
A while back, I started tripping occasionally. No big deal at first – until one morning, I went to put on my sock and couldn’t feel the top of my foot. Or part of my calf. Total numbness.
The doctor could’ve just treated the symptom – stimulated the skin using a TENS unit or maybe tried acupuncture to bring sensation back. And you know what? I might have felt something... but it would’ve been a temporary fix. Because the real issue wasn’t my foot — it was coming from my lower back.
Turns out I had retrolisthesis in my L3 and L4 as well as a bulging disc, and it was pinching a nerve. That numbness? Just the signal.
Most coaching programs treat the numbness.
They go straight at the symptom: burnout, lack of clarity, imposter syndrome, overthinking – trying to “stimulate” the surface. And maybe you feel a bit better for a while, as long as they are holding your hand or constantly pushing you. But if they never address the deeper outdated program – the thing underneath it all – the issue keeps coming back.
What we do here is different. We don’t stop at what’s presenting on the surface, the symptoms. I can’t answer this for you — but here’s how to think about it.

But here's the hard truth is ... You're as far as your old programming can take you ... not too far behind, not too stuck, not too late ... you just need an update to move forward. Stop using Excel 2003 on your 2025 Computer. Whether 25 or 75 ... it's time for an update.
Longer Answer:
One of my clients – a successful lawyer – came into our second session with resistance in full force. He balked at the pricing. Balked at the assignment. And said right off the bat, “This isn't going to work.”
So I asked him: “Did you do the work? What I asked?"
He paused. “Well... no. I’ve been in therapy for a decade. I’ve done similar things, and it didn’t work.”
There it was. He was unwilling to try something new – he had already made up his mind that it wouldn’t work. But why?
Because the old program was still running: “This won’t work for me ... “I’m different.” “Nothing ever really changes.”
So I challenged him: “Do everything I ask this week. Then come back, and if nothing shifts, we’ll talk alternatives.”
The next week he looked at me over the camera, shaking his head like he was mad while smiling. He said, “Dammit Deano, I’m a lawyer and the one thing we hate ... is being wrong.”
He went on to tell me he’d had a breakthrough with his wife – the first real one in years. He felt hopeful again. Proud of himself but also mad that he didn't have a breakthrough sooner ... another program we helped update in the process.
And that’s the point. You’re not too late. You’re not too stuck. You’ve just been running outdated mental code that’s convinced you nothing can really change.
But the mind – just like a computer – only processes what it’s been fed. So if you want things to change ... you have to update your programming.
Quick Answer:
The people who get the biggest results aren’t the smartest or most accomplished – they’re the ones who actually show up and do the work.
This method works across industries and personality types – because it doesn’t rely on hype or motivation. It works because it rewires the deeper mental patterns that drive how you think, feel, and act.

I don't know what your literal results will be, but I do know you'll be proud of them. You see, unlike other coaches, who want to label your issues and problems to work on according to what they see ... I get to walk you through a process that actually reveals what you need to work on.
Listen, I can spot your challenges real quick, I can see the programs firing in real time, but I don't know the root cause underneath ... but you do. And again, being a hot head, short tempered, judgmental, self-debasing, negative, unmotivated, etc ... are just symptoms. And each one of us have unique programming because we were all raised by different people, had different childhood experiences and were programmed uniquely by people who didn't know what they were doing ... because they were programmed by people who didn't know what they were doing.
So each of us have unique codes, and though some of the results, the "Symptoms" may look similar, the origination of the code is different.
And that's the beauty of the system.
It doesn't put people in a box and have a one size fits all strategy. No ... it allows for each person, even siblings, to discover what uniquely has shaped them into who they are ... both good and bad.
Now let me give you a few quick snapshots:
- A C-suite exec finally stopped second-guessing every move and reclaimed his confidence – not just in meetings, but in relationships with his partner, parents and friends.
- A startup founder stopped overcomplicating decisions and started leading decisively – without the overwhelm or burning out – and raised his series B.
